BG Group, a leading player in the global energy market, needed a complete fit-out solution across four buildings and 1800 workstations at its UK headquarters in Thames Valley Park, Reading. The £2.2 million project needed to respond not only to the practical needs of a complex workforce, but also to the limits and opportunities of the architecture of the building and to the values and brand of the business.

Steelcase Solutions worked closely with the architects to develop an office furniture solution and layout that would meet the needs of the employees while making the most of the contemporary buildings.

As well as providing new furniture including desks, credenzas, storage, trader desks and an energy-saving power distribution unit, Steelcase Solutions refurbished BG Group’s existing furniture, helping us to deliver the highest quality solution as cost effectively as possible.
