After working for years in a small office, international bicycle manufacturers Trek Bicycle Corporation Ltd decided that it was time to extend their existing office space to better reflect their status as a highly regarded, worldwide brand.
They needed to expand their warehousing capabilities and used the opportunity to also create a new office connecting their new and existing buildings. Their new premises needed to allow space for a new two-story, practical space, with a showroom and training area on the first floor to promote informal, collaborative meetings.

Steelcase Solutions worked closely with the architects to bring the culture of the Trek Bicycle office into the modern era. Old corner cubicles were replaced with flat, straight office desks, informal meeting spaces were introduced to promote collaborative working and a new kitchen/breakfast area for employees to relax and work in a more casual settings.
Steelcase Think chairs and a 4.8 meeting conference table completed the new look meeting room, bringing a more modern but comfortable feel to the new space while maintaining the visual continuity through the office.
Trek Bicycle were also keen to maintain an industrial, warehouse feel on the ground floor for their showroom and training area. The clean, modern lines set off the polished concrete floor, creating a stylish, high-concept space that remained fit for purpose. It is now a showroom and functional area that reflects the quality of their products and brand.
