Steelcase Solutions joined its parent company Steelcase in Manchester on the 25th June for the joint launch of a selection of new products and the opening of a brand new showroom concept called SmartSpace. The SmartSpace supports a mixed presence of virtual and face-to-face interactions and shows how this can help with company culture and environmental performance and both the Steelcase and Steelcase Solutions teams will operate from here.

Over 15 new product ranges were also launched alongside the Manchester opening, representing the largest Steelcase product launch to date in the UK. The spectrum of cutting-edge products have been specifically designed to meet the changing needs of employees and office workspace.  These included a fusion of high performance seating, ergonomic desking, intelligent storage and new technologies that encourage collaborative working.

The Lord Mayor Alison Firth joined in the celebrations by officially opening the SmartSpace along with more than 250 customers, dealers, partners and local businesses who all joined in the celebrations.
